Hi! I am so happy you’re here! My name is Sofie and I’m a self contained special ed teacher in San Antonio, Texas! I teach grades 2-5. I have a huge passion for helping all my students reach their fullest potential. I also love making that happen for other special ed teachers. So I create resources that help teachers reach ALL their students.

I spent my first year teaching special education in Chintsa, South Africa. I worked at an amazing independent school called African Angels. I learned so many lessons teaching there that still have an impact on me today. It is a huge part of my journey.

I am about to start my third year in self contained! I love all things that include, visual supports, ABA strategies, behavior replacement, velcro, timers, and lamination.

When I am not in teacher mode, I love to hike and spend time exploring new places with this man I get to call my fiance!
